What is it, that one must focus when multiple theories and diverse thoughts are a part of mainstream communication?

After working on few complex projects ranging from, establishing complete operations in an unknown territories to amplifying the impact of existing set ups, I have realized the most important enabler to solve a complex problem is

‘Defining The Problem Sharply’

• Invest maximum portion of available time and energy in defining it.
• Even if the problem at surface is looking obvious, once you do a complete deep dive, you will realize that core of the problem is completely different than what it appears.
• Be relentless in your approach of getting to the core.
• Keep discarding the first few thoughts which are obvious and doesn’t frame a core of the problem.

Most importantly, encourage a culture wherein defining a problem gets as much attention/appreciation as that of having a most innovative solution.

End of the day IDEAS are SOLUTIONS only when they help to solve a core problem.
