Professional career is something which largely impacts the way we lead our life.
That may not necessarily be the only aspect but surely a significant one.
Most of our professional goals are defined in terms of the end results and the capabilities are judged in line with the success or failure of the same.
Thus , what we measure / designed to measure is the outcome.
Catalyst , a book by Mr. Chandramouli Venkatesan , challenges this very notion of usual measurement matrix of goals.
The book explains the concept of experience in a very effective way.
It’s not the time spent which implies the experience but the ability to convert that time and activity into a ‘meaningful experience‘ is what determines professional success.
Strive for that ability , Strive for that new project and Strive for getting better each time you work on any professional assignment.
It’s not the success or the failure of the assignment but the meaningful experience we got can CATALYSE personal and hence professional growth.
